Neville's back on England duty as Everton veteran returns in Under 21s role

Phil Neville lead the way at the Riverside Stadium as the veteran Everton midfielder got to grips with his new role in the England Under-21 set-up.
Neville won 59 caps for his country and took up an invitation from the senior caretaker manager Stuart Pearce earlier this month to join Under 19s boss Brian Eastick.

Alongside Under 17s manager John Peacock, Neville and Eastick will guide the side in Pearce's absence for the European Championship qualifier at Middlesbrough on Wednesday night against Belgium.

It's the first time the respected 35-year-old has linked-up with the international team in a coaching capacity in a path which he appears destined to take once he hangs up his boots.
The former Manchester United star has long held coaching ambitions and is working towards his UEFA 'A' licence, having already secured his 'B' licence.

England are top of Group Eight with 12 points and a win would almost certainly secure them a place in the Euro 2013 play-off
