Did the man who 'tortured and burned' his pregnant girlfriend also murder her brother and two friends while she hid in terror?

Did the man who 'tortured and burned' his pregnant girlfriend also murder her brother and two friends while she hid in terror?

Police in Modesto, California, say they are still hunting for the man who brutally murdered three people inside a quiet suburban home next to a golf course early Saturday.
The boyfriend of the massacre's lone survivor could hold clues about the triple slaying -- after it emerged that he allegedly kidnapped her for nine days last month and beat, burned and tortured her.
Authorities have not publicly connected Richard Tyrone Garibay, 21, to the shootings, but they re-arrested him for the alleged abuse against his girlfriend and updated the charges one day after the bodies were found in Modesto. He is currently being held on $1.18 million bail.

Kin: David Siebels, 16, who was also killed, was the brother of the lone survivor, an 18-year-old woman with a violent boyfriend
Edward Reinig, 31, was found gunned down inside his two-story home on a peaceful Modesto block Saturday morning. Along side him were the bodies of his girlfriend, Alyxandria Tellez, 19, and David Siebels, 16, the little brother of his roommate's fiance.
The sole survivor was Siebel's pregnant 18-year-old sister, who hid in a closet during the rampage.
That woman's boyfriend, Garibay, was arrested in February after he allegedly held her captive at their home in nearby Ceres for nine days -- from January 27 through February 5, the Modesto Bee reported.
Garibay, who is the father of the child the woman is carrying, flew into a jealous rage after reading text messages on her phone.
As he held her against her will, Garibay beat her, burned her with a lighter and threatened to kill her and her family with a knife and a gun, according to police.
When her bruises healed, Garibay released his girlfriend. Her family took he to the hospital and called police.
When officers raided his home, they found methamphetamine, a gun capable of shooting armor-piercing ammunition and a large amount of cash.

Police arrested Garibay, but he immediately posted bail and was let out of jail. He was free when the shootings occurred.
Garibay was never formally charged with the crimes and was schedule to appear in court at a later date.
However, after the killings, prosecutors filed an indictment and police arrested him Sunday night during a traffic stop.

He is charged with felony counts of assault likely to produce great bodily injury, torture, battery on a spouse or cohabitor, threating to commit a crime that would result in death or injury, and false imprisonment. The charges are enhanced because Garibay is alleged to have used a gun and knife while making the threats, and because harm was inflicted on his girlfriend, the complaint says.
His bail is now $1.18 million.
Despite this, police have refused to say whether they consider Garibay a suspect in the murders.
They do believe, however, that the shootings were not random.
